John Roger Arnold Pocket Watch
This Arnold pocket watch is by one of the most respected (and collectable) of English watchmakers. It bears the J R Arnold serial number 3847. Inside it is somewhat devoid of engraved decoration to the point of being austere.
Sadly the front of the full hunter case is missing. Could be replaced but of course any replacement will always be just that.
John Roger Arnold was more famous and successful than his father, John Arnold who died in 1799.
