Fabrics
It isn’t always a good idea to buy cheap fabric off the roll in a shop; to guarantee that you’re getting the right stuff choose it in a reputable manufacturer’s sample book and then order it. A designer name doesn’t necessarily mean quality and some designer fabrics are made cheaply from inferior materials. If a contracted out run of designer fabric goes wrong in the production, the roll might appear as genuine looking fabric in a shop. We’ve seen patterns made up in reverse, fire retardant on the wrong side etc.
Ross Fabrics Leeds http://www.rossfabrics.co.uk
Very good reliable quality and not expensive. Not the only supplier by a long way but our preferred, although a little conservative, fire retardant treated and specifications, rubbing numbers, etc. Excellent courier delivery service.
