Three children’s chairs
Details: A collection of three very different children’s chairs.
On then left; an Irish country or vernacular wing-back chair made from solid softwood coloured to look like mahogany. It has a loose upholstered seat.
In the centre; a Thonet, Vienna bentwood chair, possibly made as a shop display sample – The maker’s name is branded into the inside of the seat rail.
On the right; a Windsor, unmarked, the style is English but I have no way of knowing where or when it was made. The front of the arm-rests are drilled for a restraining bar.
