A Set of Six Edwardian Carved Oak Dining Chairs
Details: Oak back and front legs with an oak applied show-wood moulding on the seat frame. The seat frame is beech with cut tenon joints (not dowels). The carving detail is well executed and quite even across the set. They are solidly made although the original back seat frame brackets have all been replaced with a deeper section made up in Beech. They are waiting to be upholstered; the seats will be sprung and they will be covered with the fabric shown in the picture.
