Georgian style mahogany chest of drawers
Details: A Mahogany chest of drawers – two short drawers over two long..
The style is Georgian but I think it was made later – mid to late Victorian.
In very sound usable condition – all the cocked beads around the edges of the drawer fronts are present.
The stamped brass drawer-pulls are apparently a later addition because it is possible to see the ends of the original Victorian wooden knob drawer pulls on the inner faces of the drawer fronts.
The French polished mahogany veneer is in good condition although the cross banding has sustained some minor damage and imperfections.
A solid, functional and attractive piece of furniture.
