A small Victorian Mirror-backed Sideboard
Details: This sideboard may be of the type often described as Tottenham Court Road furniture: in other words if it were English, it would have been made in an East-end of London workshop and brought to the more up-market Tottenham Court road for sale. Of course, I can’t be sure it was made in London, but the same principle applies. The mahogany finish is quite well polished and the carved detail above the mirror is complete.
